We are proud to present a comprehensive assembly system designed for a leading home automation company. Our project is an advanced technological line consisting of four specialized stations that optimizes the production process of J4 drive components, combining the precision of human labor with the reliability of automation.

🛠️ System Architecture

The line is divided into two main technological blocks, each of which carries out key process stages:

Block I: Stations ST.10 and ST.15

This is the heart of the initial assembly of drive components.

  • Station ST.10 (Manual): Precise basic assembly takes place here, including the installation of the LSU+Gearbox, contact plates, and bearings. A key element is the integrated automatic rotor lubrication module.

  • Station ST.15 (Automatic): Equipped with a conveyor belt system and an advanced screw driver module with four DOGA screwdrivers. The system automatically feeds Zamak screws, verifies torque and drive depth, and directs non-conforming products (NOK) to a dedicated evacuation buffer.

Block II: Stations ST.30 and ST.40

Final stage of final assembly of the J4 engines.

  • Station ST.30: Focuses on arming the stator and preparing the engine for pallet transport to the next module.

  • ST.40 Station (Pressing and Screwing): An advanced module for final screwing in of stator screws, lubrication of bearings and precise, multi-stage pressing of the motor shaft using electric actuators.

💡 Key Innovations and Features

  • Intelligent Control: The entire system is based on Siemens SIMATIC S7-1200 controllers and Proface HMI panels, ensuring intuitive operation and full process diagnostics.

  • Ability Mode: An innovative function that allows stations to work independently and freely change references at any stage of the line.

  • Full Quality Control: Sensor systems monitor every step – from the presence of components, through lubrication time, to precise pressing parameters.

  • Ergonomics and Safety: Workstations equipped with adjustable footrests, polycarbonate covers and E-STOP systems integrated into safety logic.

✅ Result

Thanks to the implementation of this line, our client gained an efficient production system capable of continuous operation while maintaining the highest standards of repeatability. This is another project by GM Automatyka that demonstrates our ability to handle the most demanding assembly processes.
